Meet the Owner

Hi! Thanks for stopping by! My name is Holden Hertog. When I founded Hertog Hardscape in 2023 I had two things in mind. One, a dream of owning a successful business, and two, a passion for getting my hands dirty and building things. Mostly random and unnecessary things, but the part I enjoyed was getting creative and seeing the final product come together piece by piece. What better way to do that than with pavers, stones, bricks, and every other hardscape material you can think of? There are thousands of ways you can lay them, stack them and a million different ways you can design a space with them. In 2025, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida Gulf Coast University with a degree in Entrepreneurship and a minor in Business Management. During my time there, I noticed the hardscape industry in Southwest Florida lacked attention to detail and quality work that lasts. I saw my opportunity and took it. I knew I could deliver a much higher-quality product that isn’t filled with imperfections and doesn’t sink or shift over time. My team does exactly that every day, they set out to build perfection. And I? I get to be creative and watch a final product come together brick by brick.
